Our second walk club meet-up was on Saturday, February 12th where we met at Liberty Cafe in Coral Gables and then walked as a group of 32 people for 2.73 miles for a total of 5,987 steps around the Granada Golf Course.
This was a special walk considering it was Valentine's Day (the day of love). Last year, Beyond Grey participated in two "Fortune Flower's Projects" where we turn flowers into fortune cookies and write encouraging notes for the women at Lotus House Shelter.
This year, Walk Club took part of our yearly tradition and wrote handwritten notes for the flowers. See below for our members hard at work followed by the images at Lotus House Shelter.
